The nurses are friendly and try to advise you as best as possible. Dr Boyd is the nicest doctor I've ever had and really makes an effort on a personal level.

The nurses and doctors have been great in assisting my needs and listening to me. They definitely do not overlook anything and during my appointment the nurse paid careful attention to everything I mentioned. However, having been directed to book an appointment to get some swabs done, I tried to discretely tell this to the receptionists so that they could book me in. Realising that this was hard to do in front of a busy waiting room I was persistent in saying that I would ring back another time instead. The receptionist then took it upon herself to repeatedly ask me what I was saying and then conferred with the receptionist next to her rather loudly before saying 'Oh, for Chlamydia?' very loudly in front of the whole waiting room. Although I did get an appointment I left humiliated.

The nurse and the doctor were really lovely and really helpful. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. The receptionist wasn't very polite though and made me feel awkward before an appointment I was already scared about.

Had booked a blood test but wasn't given clear instructions that I'd have to prepare for it. I even went in to the reception to ask if I needed to fast the day before and they said no. When I turned up to have it done (having booked a month ahead- there were no sooner times available) I was THEN told that I should have fasted. Then I was told I would hear back with the results within a week. I should have asked how I'd be contacted because when two weeks later I still heard nothing the receptionist seemed unsure of why I hadn't been called. Everything else about how things are run were good, but found the organization of that appointment extremely unhelpful.

The doctors and nurses are professional and really listen. The time it takes to get an appointment is something I expect wherever I go so can't complain. My only frustration is calling up asking to see my doctor and being booked in to see a nurse, without being advised. The nurses do a great job and I have only had good experiences with them, however, I knew my problem meant that I would need too see a doctor. This meant that after a week long wait, I took up ten minutes of the nurse's time only to be sent to reception to book another appointment for two weeks time. I feel that the receptionist could have asked some qualifying questions when I booked the original appt. to determine who was best to see to prevent wasting the nurse's and my own time. (this has now happened twice) It is more of a procedural issue rather than the fault of the receptionist, but still very frustrating.
